  • After over 1 hour of checking out different sites, your site is great: informative, easy to understand and compare products, and free shipping and no tax is especially a plus. You may use my review on your site.

    —  Dr. Stan K.

  • I purchased two mats last year and was very happy with the experience

    —  Frank L.

  • the design plan and calculator was a great help

    —  Ruth C.

  • The only thing I didn't like about it is that your site does not specify it is a g-floor product, even though that is what I requested. I find that strange but trust it is what I ordered. You came out $**.** less than a better-site competitor. Not much, but still less. I was also able to talk to a live person for help in choosing, so it gave me more security if I have issues.

    —  Marcus L.

  • This is my second order. I used roll goods for my woodworking shop and think its great. this order is for the mechanics room of my new home.

BLT RaceDay Peel & Stick

BLT RaceDay Peel & StickHow do BLT RaceDay Peel & Stick tiles compare with other vinyl floor tiles? BLT RaceDay Peel & Stick tiles have been fabricated from only the highest quality solid vinyl all the way through; it is not layered. Many of our competitors' floorings do not use top-quality material or only use it on the top 10%-20%, and laminate with inferior material that cannot provide the same level of protection throughout. Some of these products contain three layers of filler that use low-quality material.

BLT RaceDay Peel & Stick Tile:
  • Has been made to be resistant to salt, oil, battery acid, alkali, and antifreeze.
  • Does not contain any lead, asbestos, or chemicals at hazardous levels, as defined by Proposition 65.
  • Is durable enough to drive on yet comfortable enough to walk on. The longer you let it set, the better it looks.
  • Is better than all other flooring tiles that you can walk and drive on.
  • Features solid polyvinyl, and has uniform resistance throughout the whole material, top to bottom.

Color NOTE:  Tiles are currently manufactured in Midnight Black, Slate Grey, Absolute White, Electric Yellow, Blaze Orange, Bold Gold, Royal Blue, Radical Red, Forest Green, Metallic Silver, Royal Purple and Sandstone. Due to the nature of process manufacturing, floor tiles purchased on different days may not be identical in color. Like all similar types of flooring, BLT garage floor mats can eventually become stained. The manufacturer has created a new flexible stain blocker for application on any of their products. This significantly reduces the likelihood of permanent staining.

  • Beautifies shops, garages, and work areas
  • Hides cracks and stains in older floors
  • Easy to install and custom fit
  • Helps prevent concrete floor damage
  • Patterned design reduces the amount of dirt tracked into the house
  • Very durable-lasts for years
  • Cushions floor for anti-fatigue benefit
  • Five-year limited warranty
  • Reduces noise and provides insulation
  • Virtually seals flooring with non-porous surface

Installation Guidelines for RaceDay Tile

Tools needed: straight edge, utility knife, and something to mark the floor. Preparation & Installation Instructions

(1) How many tiles will be needed? Our recommendation is that you buy about 10% more tiles than you think the project requires.  This will enable you to cover mistakes, provide for optimal trimming, and prepare for possible damage in the future.
(2) Clean Floor: Clean the subfloor so it is free of oil, dirt, wax, grease, foreign material, and any chemicals that might be present.  Ensure that the subfloor is smooth, and you should fill in areas where necessary.
(3) Preparation of the Subfloor: The concrete must be fully cured (around 28 days or longer after pouring), as well as free of alkalinity and moisture.  Carry out standard moisture and alkalinity testing if needed.  Alkali and moisture will not harm or damage the RaceDay tile, but they can cause impairment to the adhesive, which will break down over time.  Please note: It is the responsibility of the flooring contractor or installer to judge the dryness of the concrete subfloors prior to the installation of the floor tiles.  On grade concrete subfloors must include a permanent moisture barrier (basement proofer or floor primer).  Plywood/solid wood subfloors should be dried and fully cured.  We also recommend that you use a primer on wood subfloors to promote better bonding.  This stops the adhesive from becoming absorbed into the wood or concrete.  Failure to use primer over the concrete will void the warranty.  Cracks, holes, and depressions must be filled with a latex underlayment, and all depressions and cracks must be removed.  Any dust should be cleaned off with a damp mop or vacuum, and dried immediately prior to applying the peal and stick tile.
(4) Layout of the Room: Lay out unpeeled tiles on the floor to determine how the placement and pattern will look before you apply them permanently.  We recommend that you always begin from a square point and work outward.  Treat the room as a rectangle and locate the center points of the two end walls.  Mark the floor to ensure the square point and create a guideline with a laser, ink, pencil, or light chalk line for the first row of tile, then the entire grid if so desired (if you use a chalk line, make sure you don't have too much chalk on the floor, as it may prevent the adhesive from sticking).
(5) Laying the Tile: Make sure that the tiles have been stored at room temperature (65 degrees Fahrenheit or more) for 48 hrs.  Don't perform the installation in conditions cooler than 55 degrees Fahrenheit.  You should always start from the center and work outward.  Peel off the release paper and place the tile edge flush with the marking line.  Then slowly lower the remainder of the tile onto the floor in a bent fashion, as if you're unrolling a mat.  This keeps out air and ensures an even stick.  The tile can be peeled up and repositioned if needed.
(6) Boarder Tile: Don't peel the paper from the back before making the cuts.  Turn over the tile and place the loose tile over the last row so that one end of it is touching the wall.  Mark the paper of the loose tile with a pencil, then cut with a knife.  Peel off the back of the fitted tile, turn it over, and put it in place.  If you are fitting it around an obstacle, make a pattern on paper and draw an outline on the back of the paper to cut the shape.
(7) For best results, roll your flooring in both directions after installation to guarantee that all of the air bubbles are out and the adhesive touches the subfloor.
